At the meeting organized within the framework of the Campaign “This Affects You Too” that took place on March 2 at Sheraton Metechi Palace Georgian NGOs released an appeal to the government for ensuring OSCE/ODIHR long-term Election Observation Mission to Georgia to guarantee highly professional and unbiased monitoring of the election environment not only during the two-months pre-election period, but also for the entire election year.   

Circulated today appeal to Georgian Government and OSCE/ODIHR has been signed by the representatives of 46 non-governmental and media organizations up to now.

Members of the Campaign also made an appeal to the OSCE General Secretary and ODIHR office for sending a long-term Election Observation Mission to Georgia what would promote free and fair elections in the country.

Both documents are open for signing by March 8, thus those organizations that did not manage to sign them can do it during the next 6 days.
