On Thursday, 20 March 2014, representatives of the Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF) and High Education Reform Platform will meet with university students and academic circles at Samtskhe Javakheti State University (address: 106 Rustaveli St., Akhaltsikhe) to discuss education reforms.
In 2013 the International Institute for Education Policy, Planning and Management implemented a project ” Strategic Development of High Education and Research in Georgia- Reform Supporting Platform Creation”. The financial support for the project was provided by the OSGF. The project partners were National Tempus Office, Center for Social Sciences (CSS), Tempus National Office Center for International Education (CIE) and Academic Fellowship Program of the Open Society Foundations.
The project aims to identify strategic directions for high education and science development and create a strategic plan for the transformation of the sector.
