The Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership, which unites 102 NGOs, has launched the campaign entitled “WE Choose Europe” to support European integration of Georgia.
The open air concert under the motto “We Choose Europe on Sunday” will take place on April 13, Sunday, 6:00 p.m., on Europe Square. The concert will gather young musicians, actors, journalists, sportsmen and celebrities around the idea of Georgia’s European choice.
Before the milestone event, NGOs produced and widely spread through social networks videos reflecting the personal choice of celebrities and opinion leaders to join the European family. The campaigners have also designed posters to demonstrate the advantages of integration of Georgia into the European Union.
The need for the campaign is justified by the fact that Georgia has reached a key stage in its cooperation with the European Union: Georgia is on its way to signing the Association Agreement in the upcoming months.
