20th Award Ceremony of GIPA Graduates

This year, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs marks its 20th anniversary. On September 18, the President of Georgia, the US Ambassador to Georgia, Executive Director of the Open Society Georgia Foundation and other guests of the ceremony awarded GIPA graduates with diplomas.

Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and the Open Society Georgia Foundation were established in 1994 with the idea to promote democratic values ​​among youth. Together with other donors, the Foundation has been greatly contributing to the development of GIPA from the 90s to the present day.

The Foundation supported development of a local self-government school, provided funds for the professors of Georgian faculty and actively participated in the curriculum development process. A large part of GIPA Library has been filled with the support of the Foundation. OSGF was actively involved in the creation of Frontline Club.

During the award ceremony, the Executive Director of the Open Society Georgia Foundation, Keti Khutsishvili received the Certificate of appreciation.
