On November 9, at 7 pm, Frontline Club will host a public discussion “Elimination 2020 – Georgia without Hepatitis C.”
Hepatitis C Elimination Program has launched in Georgia two years ago. Two years after launching the program, patients apply to the clinics more rarely. But their number still exceeds 100 000.
The article released in the 23rd edition of Indigo magazine summarizes temporary results of the Hepatitis C Program and raises important issues. The following persons will answer Indigo’s questions during the discussion: Maia Butsashvili, infectious disease specialist, one of the directors of NeoLab clinic; Tengiz Tsertsvadze, infectious disease specialist, Director General of Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, head of HEPA clinic; Amiran Gamkrelidze, Director General of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia .
