On July 17-19 the Government of Georgia and civil society will be hosting 5th Global Summit of Open Governance Partnership.
2000 representatives from 75 partnership member states will attend the summit.
On the first day of the event, civil society will discuss social and economic challenges posing the country and experience of partner states.
Open Governance Partnership is multilateral initiative, that aims to secure concrete commitments from governments to promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption, and harness new technologies to strengthen governance. OGP is a golden opportunity for citizens to get involved in governance and require changes for their well-being.
Georgia has been chosen as Chair of the Open Governance Partnership initiative in 2017.
