29.11.2018

On October 28, 2018, Georgians went the polls for the last direct elections of the President of the country. As none of the candidates garnered more than half of all valid votes in the first round, the elections went into a runoff that took place a month later, on November 28, 2018.

OSGF partner watchdogs have been actively observing two rounds of election’s days. They have been briefing public on electoral violations through the Elections Media Center that hosted more than 40 press briefings by six monitoring NGOs during both rounds.

The organizations briefing on election results were: ISFED, GYLA, Transparency International Georgia, Civil Movement- Multinational Georgia, Center for Development and Democracy and Human Rights Center.

The briefings have been broadcast live.
