On December 18, First Step Georgia, a nongovernmental organization, held a gala concert and a charity dinner at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel to help children with limited abilities.
The event was also attended by a group of employees of the Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF).
The OSGF and First Step Georgia have cooperated for many years. The OSGF has supported a number of projects for children with limited abilities, including day care centers, home-based care centers and Early Development Programs.
The OSGF was hailed as a special partner of the First Step Georgia during the event.
On behalf of the OSGF, Keti Khutsishvili took part in the charity auction. The whole amount of the raised funds will go to the children with limited abilities involved in First Step Georgia programs. These children are from socially vulnerable families and are in extreme need of the support received from day care centers, home-based care centers and Early Development Programs.
