On February 20th, in Frontline Club, the students of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) gave the presentation on the planned PR campaigns related to healthcare and human rights.
Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations and invited guests got acquainted with a variety of ways on how to make the issues on healthcare and human rights more popular through using the communication channels.
PR campaigns highlighted the issues related to persons with disabilities and mental health problems, as well as the issues on gender inequality and gratuitous donation of the blood.
The jury (composed of: Bidzina Baratashvili, Jana Javakhishvili, Nino Kiknadze, Tiko Nachkhebia, Rusudan Tevzadze) selected the best two projects and awarded them with cash prizes.
The project on “Communication for the Right to Health” is supported by the Open Society Georgia Foundation. The major goal of the project is to plan effective PR campaigns on healthcare and human rights in collaboration with GIPA students and non-governmental organizations.
