Media Conference 2016

On March 10, the Media Advocacy Coalition in partnership with the Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF) and the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) held a media conference.

The conference consisted of five panels:

• Media environment ahead of parliamentary elections;
• Financial sustainability of media and transparency;
• Reform of the Georgian Public Broadcaster;
• Internet freedom and regulatory trends of online space;
• Summary of digital broadcasting reform;

The conference was attended by the representatives of the Government, civil society and media.
