Since September 2018, Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF), together with partner organizations, has been implementing an international project, involving 17 countries of Latin America, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Near East and North Africa. The purpose of the project is to increase access to HIV infection, Hepatitis C and Tuberculosis treatment, as well as to create savings in 17 low and average-income countries.
On February 20-22, 2019, Tbilisi hosted an international conference in a working format. During three days, the participants from various countries with different experience and specifics had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activities of each other, to listen to invited experts and share the international experience. Future cooperation prospects and joint campaigns were planned at the meeting. Moreover, human and organizational capacities were evaluated.
The international conference is one of the events of a multi-component project. Taking into consideration a particular region and national specifics, it is planned to create databases, to organize training and meetings as well as to carry out advocacy and information campaigns.

The Tbilisi International Conference was held upon the initiative of International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) and it was organized by Open Society Georgia Foundation.
