Within the framework of Open Society Georgia Foundation and General Prosecutor’s joint project “Public prosecutor’s office”, on initiative of Mtskheta prosecutor, on April 26, 2008 in Mtskheta region was organized charity exhibition-trade at the Dzegvi orphanage.
Orphanage children presented their handicrafts for selling. The event was attended by the guests from general prosecutor’s office as well as representatives of Diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia.
To celebrate Easter, prosecutors granted orphanage children with food, living essentials, and gifts during the event and made children happy. Together with children they dyed eggs red. It is to be noted, that Mtskheta regional prosecutors office assumed supervision over Dzegvi orphanage in 2007 within the project “Public Prosecutor’s office” and since than has been generously assisting.
