Ethnic minorities are more socially excluded:
- 68% of them have below-average income
- 57% of them are not even informed about the activities of local authorities
- 17% of them do not take advantage of medical insurance
- They tend to obtain full general or higher/technical education two times less as compared to the general population• 84% of them are not able to understand the content of the Georgian text
Representatives of ethnic minorities do not have access to quality education, health care, and government services. Such social and economic exclusion can only be addressed through comprehensive public policies meeting various challenges of low inclusion and poverty.
