Frontline Georgia Club Launched

8 Oct, 2010

On October 8, an opening of the Frontline Georgia Club took place at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).

The Frontline Georgia Club is supported by the Open Society Media Program and Open Society Georgia Foundation. Modeled after London Frontline Club, Frontline Georgia aims to serve as a politically-neutral venue for journalists, public officials, students and intellectuals to come together in a dialogue over issues of public importance.  The Club will host talks, screenings, exhibitions, and master classes.  Cafe Frontline will be designed and operated in collaboration with the popular chain of Literary Cafes.

The idea of the opening has already received a positive feedback in the social networks and was assessed as “a welcome development not only for Georgia, but also for the region itself.”
