Marina Tabukashvili, the Director General of Foundation Taso was awarded the Diploma of merit by US State department for 15 years active participation in democratic development of the country and women’s movement.
US Ambassador to Georgia, John Teft personally presented Ms. Marina Tabukasvhili with the award. At the award event held at US Embassy on March 12, Mr. Teft emphasized Mrs. Tabukasvhili’s merit in building the national system for protecting women and children against violence, her contribution to regional and international cooperation. Leaders of women’s movement and journalists attended the event.
