With regard to directorial elections of Georgian Public broadcasting, Open Society Georgia Foundation and Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association organized a meeting of NGOs and journalists with the candidates for directorship of Georgian Public Broadcasting on August 4, at 17:00 in Sheraton Metechi Palace. The participants of the meeting had an opportunity to get familiar with the candidates’ vision and to pose questions.
11 candidates for directorship attended the meeting: Zviad Qoridze, Lali Moroshkina, Erosi Kitsmarishvili, Marina Saluqvadze, Bachuki Bakhtadze, Teimuraz Qoridze, Zurab Maghalashvili, Merab Kelenjeridze, Marekh Chopikashvili, Giorgi Kacharava, Tamaz Bibiluri.
The participating candidates received a special statement addressed to Board of Trustees of Georgian Public Broadcasting, containing a request for live transmission of meeting with candidates on Public broadcasting.
On August 5, the address was officially submitted to the chancellery of Georgian Public Broadcasting.
