We, Media Advocacy Coalition member organizations, believe that the existence of public broadcasters – LEPL Public Broadcaster and LEPL Public Broadcaster Ajara TV and Radio is an important part of the democratic development of our country.
In the framework of public funding, the development of these channels is still characterized by great challenges. We support the idea of a public broadcaster and call on politicians to create the proper environment for media pluralism.
At the same time, Media Advocacy Coalition continues monitoring of public broadcasters to ensure that they fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them by the law.
