Open society Georgia Foundation maintains cooperation with Tbilisi city Hall. Foundation Economic Development program is implementing joint socio-economic project which is composed of several components: In terms of PR Campaign will be published and disseminated project information booklets; a billboards are set up in several places throughout Tbilisi, TV social advertisement is prepared and placed on different TV channels.
In terms of project are being reviewed submitted applications and interviews with applicants are held. The selected project proposals will be sent to project partner banks. During the interview training participants are being selected.
Beginner entrepreneurs and interested persons to develop their own business attended two 10 days training in terms of the project.The training was guided by International organization of Labor in terms of the study program – “Start and develop your business”. The study program consisted of several topics: idea concept, marketing, sales, business games, supervision of stock, calculation of prime cost; accounting, legal responsibility, tax code, human resources management, plan of incomes and expenses, cash means circulation order.
Relevant experts were invited for consultations on tax code and issuing loans.
At the conclusive stage, the participants were awarded certificates for participation and successful completion of the training course.
Successful trainees will be provided with consultations by the consultants of foundations partner organization ABCO-Georgia. The mentioned consultants will carry our analysis of the projects submitted by the participants. They will assist applicants in harmonizing the submitted projects with the requirements of the banks, mastering presentations skills and techniques; the consultants will also assist entrepreneurs in preparing presentations of their own business plans.
